What customers say?

“ For a taco shop this is a great place for birria! The Birria taco with cheese, is fried to perfection, crispy and not too greasy with a good balance of meat and cheese! The tortillas are fresh and done well. The price is more than other taquerias. The al pastor taco has decent flavor and a good proportion of pineapple to meat. I have had better texture, it is hard to say if it was just how they make it or if it was this batch. The lengua had a good portion of the top membrane. It was not as tender and juicy as Lengua is typically. ”

“ Owner is a nice guy. Food is legit and food. He knows his menu. Torta are really good. His sauces are really good too. ”

“ Super chill place with the most amazing food! Their birria does not play it's delicious and don't get me STARTED on those tortillas. They're handmade and genuinely the best tortillas I've ever had! ”

“ Our recent visit to El Nopal Mexican in Everett was a flavorful fiesta for the taste buds. The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the goat tacos, a culinary masterpiece that left us craving more. Served exclusively on Fridays and Saturdays, these goat tacos are a hidden gem that truly sets El Nopal apart. The succulent and tender meat, expertly seasoned and wrapped in warm tortillas, created a symphony of flavors that delighted our palates. The richness of the goat meat, combined with the perfect balance of spices, made each bite a savory sensation. The attention to detail in crafting these tacos was evident, and it's clear that El Nopal takes pride in offering a unique and delectable dish for those seeking an authentic Mexican dining experience. The limited availability on weekends only adds to the allure, making it a special treat for those fortunate enough to indulge. Beyond the gastronomic delights, the atmosphere at El Nopal was vibrant and inviting. The friendly staff contributed to the overall warmth of the dining experience, making us feel like cherished guests. For anyone seeking a culinary adventure and a taste of Mexican cuisine beyond the ordinary, El Nopal Mexican in Everett is a must-visit. The goat tacos alone are worth the trip, turning an ordinary weekend meal into a memorable and delicious occasion. ”

“ My wife and I are from Phoenix, home of the best authentic Mexican food in the country, and we just moved here to Everett. I just want to say that these are the best birria tacos since we’ve been here! The tacos were real crunchy, with the right amount of onions, cilantro, and the cheese was so thick and melted. When I took my first bite, the cheese stretched across the table. The consomé was very flavorful as well. If you don’t know what is consomé, it’s the broth of the shredded beef that was cooked in, and it has all kinds of Mexican seasonings that you dip the tacos in. The rice and beans were also fantastic! 10/10 5 ⭐ A+ 100% ”

“ A truly authentic Mexican restaurant, my husband I think it is a small business with excellent dishes with clean non-greasy ingredients. Highly recommend. ”

“ This is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. It's a must visit. The patron is very friendly and will accommodate your requests. If you're going to eat spicy, let him know and he'll give you their spicy sauce. Even the imitation soy meat is excellent in taste The birria is a must try ”

“ SOOOOO GOOD! They have vegan options! Nepal and soy meat and they make their own tortillas! Ugh sooo scrumptious! You can also get it as a torta. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Sorry I ate too quick to take a photo ”
